Tusk, the African wildlife conservation organisation, has teamed up with Tinder and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya in a last-ditch attempt to save the northern white rhino from extinction.

The only remaining male northern white rhino in the world lives on the Ol Pejeta Conservatory. A 43-year old named Sudan, he has failed to successfully mate with the last two remaining females, Najin and Fatu.

Tinder has launched a “Most Eligible Bachelor in the World” campaign, which aims to raise $9 million to support the development of new technologies and techniques, including in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) to build up a viable population of northern white rhinos.
